This is an impressive booklet on the Canon PowerShot G10. It’s well written and covers aspects of the Canon G10 that the user manual doesn’t explain. As a small reference book you can keep in your bag for when you need it, this is a good one.

Canon EOS 40D

Although this book is about the Canon EOS 40D camera, it’s a good book on digital photography in general and for all Canon DSLR cameras. If you have a Canon 40D, this book will be a good reference even when you replace it one day.

Canon Rebel XSi/450D Companion

I’m impressed with Ben Long’s style of writing: it’s a very comfortable style. He gives some good examples and writes in a personal voice that I believe makes it easier for the reader to learn how to use their new camera.

For many owners of the Canon 1000D camera, this is their first camera with a changeable lens and the many features that it includes. This book is a beginner book specific to this camera and a good one with which to start.
