One of the problems with buying a book for your specific camera is that when you buy a new one the old one is outdated for you. This book is fine for any Canon DSLR camera since Canon keeps most controls and features the same.

Canon Rebel XSi/450D Companion
I’m impressed with Ben Long’s style of writing: it’s a very comfortable style. He gives some good examples and writes in a personal voice that I believe makes it easier for the reader to learn how to use their new camera.

This is an impressive booklet on the Canon PowerShot G10. It’s well written and covers aspects of the Canon G10 that the user manual doesn’t explain. As a small reference book you can keep in your bag for when you need it, this is a good one.
