These are our photo albums. They are photographs that we have taken in which we feel are well done. For each photograph we provide the name of the camera and lens used and the various camera and lens settings.
These are photographs of people that I have identified as having an artistic appeal to them. They're not necessarily from a photo album from a trip, but some of them are from my travels. Nor are they portraits—I hadn't done any portraits yet.
These are photographs of birds, flowers, and other life forms that I feel came out well. There are some photos of flowers also in the Macro album.
These are photographs that have a postcard quality and look to them. They are primarily picturesque scenes that you might see on post cards. It's generally a composition that one might try to avoid in photograph, if one wants to be original, but some shots are difficult to resist.
These photographs were taken with a macro lens. This is a lens which can be used to take very close pictures. The possibilities are exciting, the results can be very interesting and somewhat artistic.
These are other artistic photographs that I haven't been able to classify in one of the other sub-albums.
There are some basic factors that can make for good photographs: objects in balance; objects exhibiting tension or contrast; photographs showing motion and rhythm; photos containing patterns or texture. This album will provide examples of each of these.
